Spanish pattern

 Durante las vacaciones de Navidad improvisé un gorrito de lana y fui probando el patrón en varios colores. Finalmente, el triumfador fue el granate. Así que he decidido publicar el patrón para disfrute de otras tejedoras.

MATERIALES

• Agujas circulares de 4.5mm con cable 60cm o mayor si usas el magic loop, o agujas de doble punta.
• Agujas circulares de 5mm con cable de 60cm o mayor si usas el magic loop o agujas de doble punta.
• Pomponera de tamaño grande
• Aguja lanera 
• Lana de grosor Aran (8 wpi) en blanco. Yo he usado Katia Merino Aran.
• Lana de grosor Aran (8 wpi) en granate (o el color que se prefiera). 

PATRÓN 

Con las agujas de 4.5mm y la lana blanca, se montan 96 puntos. Tejer a punto elástico 1/1 (1 punto del derecho y otro del revés) durante 8 vueltas. 

Cambiar a las agujas de 5mm y tejer una vuelta a punto del derecho.

Coger la otra lana y continuar con el gráfico, teniendo en cuenta que los cuadrados oscuros corresponden a la lana granate,  y los cuadrados sin pintar a la lana blanca. En la vuelta 30 se hacen los menguados. Si se necessita más tamaño, se pueden repetir las filas 24 a 26, y si aun se necesita más largo, repetiriamos de la 23 a la 25.

Cortar la lana y cerrar los 12 puntos restantes. Una vez rematados los hilos se hace el pompón con la lana de los dos colores, juntando las dos hebras.

During Christmas Holidays I improvised a wool hat. Later I tested the pattern in different colours to compare... and the winner was the dark red. I decided to publish the pattern and I hope other knitters enjoy it.

MATERIALS

• Cable needle of 4.5mm with cable of 60cm or larger if you use magic loop technique, or double pointed needles.
• Cable needle of 5mm with cable of 60cm or larger if you use magic loop technique or double pointed needles.
• Pom pom artefact in larger size.
• Sew needle for wool.
• Yarn with weight Aran (8 wpi) in white. I used Katia Merino Aran.
• Yarn with weight Aran (8 wpi) in dark red or the colour of your choice. 

PATTERN 

With needle of 4.5mm and white yarn, cast on 96 stitches. Knit in ribbing 1/1 (knit one, purl one) during 8 rows. 

Change to needles of 5mm and knit one row. 

Take the other yarn and follow the chart,  where dark squares is in dark red, and empty squares are the white yarn. Decreases begins at row 30, but if you need more size, repeat before, rows from 24 to 26. If you need more size, repeat rows from 23 to 25. 

Cut yarn and close the 12 stitches remain. Sew the threads hiding them. Make a Pom pom joining a thread of each colour.

• Kabelnaald 5 mm van 60 cm of langer als je “magic loop” techniek gebruikt, anders naalden zonder knop
• Pompom maker in grote maat
• Naainaald voor wol
• Garen, Aran, (8wpi) in wit. Hier is: Katia Merino Aran gebruikt
• Garen, Aran, (8wpi) in donkerrood of kleur naar keuze

PATROON:

Zet met naald 4,5 mm en het witte garen 96 steken op. Brei 8 toeren boordsteek (1 recht-1 averecht).

Ga over op naald 5 mm en brei 1 toer recht.

Neem de andere kleur garen er bij en volg de teltekening, waarbij de donkere vakjes donkerrood gebreid moeten worden en de lege vakjes met wit garen.

Minderingen beginnen bij toer 30, maar las je een grotere maat wilt, herhaal dan eerst de toeren 24 tot 26. Als je een nog grotere maat wilt, herhaal dan toer 23 tot 25.

Breek de draad af en haal die door de 12 steken die overblijven. Hecht alle draadjes af en maak een pompom van beide kleuren.
